DRIVING AND PARKING DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE SITE
The race starts and finishes at West Potomac Park near the intersection of Independence Avenue and Ohio Drive, SW. The starting point is on Independence Avenue.
From SE Washington, DC; Prince George's County, MD:
Take Pennsylvania Avenue West into Washington. Exit onto 1-395 South (toward downtown Richmond). Take first exit off I-395 South in VA (GW Parkway North). Get on Memorial Bridge and follow into Washington. Bear right and follow exit for West Potomac Park. * **
From NW Washington, DC; Montgomery County, MD:
Take Connecticut Avenue, NW to Calvert Street, NW, West. Turn left onto Rock Creek Parkway South. Follow Rock Creek Parkway South until exit for West Potomac Park. Follow exit for West Potomac Park.**
Or take I-495 East to Northern VA. Exit onto GW Parkway South to Washington. Follow GW Parkway to Washington. Follow exit for Memorial Bridge and take bridge into Washington. Bear Right and follow exit for West Potomac Park.* **
From VA:
Follow GW Parkway to Washington. Follow exit for Memorial Bridge and take bridge into Washington. Bear right and follow exit for West Potomac Park.* **
Or take US Route 50 East to Washington. Follow exit for GW Parkway South (at Iwo Jima Memorial). Follow GW Parkway South until exit for Memorial Bridge to Washington. Follow exit for Memorial Bridge and take bridge to Washington. Bear right and follow exit for West Potomac Park.* **
Or take I-395 North to Washington. Follow I-395 North until exit for GW Parkway North and Memorial Bridge. Follow GW Parkway North to Memorial Bridge into Washington. Get on Memorial Bridge and follow into Washington. Bear right and follow exit for West Potomac Park.* **
* Bear left and go straight through the light.
** Continue on Ohio Drive over the Inlet Bridge. Turn left into one of the three parking lots just before the East Potomac Park sign.

Parking will be available on the surrounding streets:
Parking will be available on the surrounding streets (Constitution, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd) and at the Kennedy Center. Please note that the Kennedy Center building and facilities will not be open until 10:00am, therefore, telephones, vending machines, restrooms, and water fountains will not be accessible until then.
The closest metro stop is Foggy Bottom.
